UFlyMike headsets now legal for use at United Airlines

After three years, the UFlyMike headset is now legal for use by United Airlines pilots. Thank you to all our current and future United Airlines pilot customers for your patience and understanding while this issue was resolved. As noted by the Update, the UFlyMike headset must be used in its' TSO certified configuration. For more information about the TSO configuration and getting your headset TSO certified, please see our TSO Process page. Below is the official Central Air Safety Committee Update that updates Communication 2009-12 describing the use of the UFlyMike at United Airlines:

UFlyMike receives TSO certification of UFM with QuietComfort 15

The FAA has issued another TSO Authorization for the UFlyMike Aviation Headset using the Bose QuietComfort 15 (QC-15) Headphones, and the Westone UM1 Earbuds. If you fly for an air carrier that requires use of TSO'd headsets, contact UFlyMike for details.

Bose just introduced a new QC-series, the QC-15. All versions of the UFlyMike, past and present, are fully compatible with either the QC-2 or the new QC-15.
UFlyMike receives TSO certification

UFlyMike Aviation Headset has received FAA TSO C139 Authorization using the QC-2 headphones. The FAA requires use of approved earbuds (Westone UM1), along with the UFlyMike Aviation Headset Adapter and the Bose QC2.
