First and foremost, I want to let everyone know that the TSO certification is high on my priority list. I know many of you are waiting for the TSO certification, I have not forgotten about you. I know the wait has been much longer than anticipated, and for that I sincerely apologize.
In order to go through the TSO process, the product must be in it's final form with no major revisions forthcoming. I have what I believe to be the final revision of our Aviation circuit board starting production next week. This should be the last major revision and I will be free and clear to get the TSO certification for the product.
As far as timeline goes, I cannot say specifically. I will be sending out replacement Application Cables to those who have experienced RFI issues. It will take a 3-4 weeks for those to be tested sufficiently for me to be comfortable enough to say we have a "final" product and start the TSO process. The TSO process itself is at least 45 days for the paperwork to looked at by the FAA.
I really, and do mean really, want to have the TSO completed this summer. That is my goal and what I will strive to do.
